Our newest addition to the Smugglers Bay Collection began as a black Saison brewed with our Farmhouse strain and a blend of lactobacillus plus two strains of brettanomyces. From there, it was aged in Marlborough Pinot Noir Barriques for 13 months before blending with select brews from our barrel collection.
Showing dark garnet with distinct rye and spice aromas, it drinks with rich cocoa, chicory and clove notes along with soft lemon. Finish is lingering and complex.
